Preparing to leave

I finally have a bit of time (even though it's almost 11pm here on the East Coast) to update!

I feel like I have been all over the eastern seaboard the past month and a half. From Provincetown during Memorial day weekend, Conway, NH for a visit with a good friend, Long Island/New York City, and back and forth to my dad's in Middleton, NH it's nice to sit back for a few minutes. I will be on the road this Friday, July 1 at noon time with my best friend from college, Liz. I'm looking forward to the drive but sad to leave all that is familiar to me. I'm sure I will be fine once I'm out there, but for now, a bit sad.

View from a friend's porch in Long Island. (Awoooooo!)

My apartment all empty.

Goodbye Apt 21!

Car all packed ready for NH before getting on the road.

Today I went to Chris Dingwell studios in Portland, Maine to get my second tattoo. Thank goodness my friend Brett came to visit me, I was in quite a bit of pain. Six hours worth of work; during the last hour I think I was in a complete daze from pain and exhaustion. Growing up in the Catskills and Elka Park, NY somewhat inspired the tattoo. The red barn is taken from my grandparent's property next to my house, pink crab apple blossoms and forget me not's, shamrock for my bond with my dad and the Celtics, and then the woman symbol up in the clouds. Can't wait for it to heal to see the real product.

Outline. I thought I remembered that as the worst part... I was wrong!

Owieeee.

Almost there.

Finished product.

Alright, that is all for now. I'll upload some more pictures in the next few days and then once I'm on the road. First night Niagara Falls, NY and second night Kankakee, IL to visit some family.

I'll see you soon mom! :)
